Anxious

One more week till I start, and I’m getting more and more excited and nervous at the same time. I can’t wait till I start, and I’m so anxious to make a good impression. Reading the offer email just gets me really hyped up. On the other hand, I really don’t like the place I live now. Need to move. If I’m not comfortable, then I won’t do that well. I need to make that change ASAP.

I have been walking to most of the places because my car is not here yet. I think it should be one more day till I get it so I can get used to driving around this place. Somehow LA feels like a foreign country. Not that I feel out of place or anything, but it feels like I went back to UK. Maybe it’s because I’m not with my family any more, so the same feeling of being in UK covers me.

For my new year’s resolutions, I’ve decided that I’m going to do MORE. That’s pretty broad, isn’t it? Well, let me break it down. I want to read more (just finished the entire Harry Potter series), run more (will start this weekend on Venice Beach!), work more (yes, more than last year to those that spent with me), blog more (yes, this blog will be updated a lot more often) and overall, achieve more. Oh, but drive less and spend less :p I think that’s pretty attainable. Let’s see how this year pan out.
